Free Windows Home Server evals
I went to Microsoft.com today to look some information up, and I discovered that they are giving away free (even S/H is free) 120 day evals of Windows Home Server. I’ve been curious about this product, but I didn’t want to spend a cent without trying it first. Here’s my chance, I guess. If you’re interested, you can get this from:

Now that the update to fix the data corruption bug is complete, this is a great solution for home backup. Being built on Windows Server 2003 allows installation of Sharepoint 3.0. The drive extender technology is great in that it pools drives of any type together, and will duplicate across physical drives for redundancy
I have 5 computers on a home network, and connected to a home-build computer with a couple of 500GB drives and using the OEM version of Windows Home Server. You get a dynamic DNS address and SSL connection for remote access to shared folders and options for remote access to any of the computers.
Thanks for the info.
